Together We Rise is an illustration created for CAPE Ettelbrück as part of Elisabeth Schilling’s youth programme of the same name. Designed to speak directly to teenagers aged 13–20, the visual adopts an energetic, contemporary and open language that invites young people to take part in one of four creative workshops: dance, sewing, creative writing and video. Through abstraction and symbolism rather than figurative characters, the illustration translates each activity into visual elements—rhythm and movement for dance, texture and thread for sewing, shape and language for writing, framing and light for video. Bold colours, strong contrasts and a dynamic composition are used to spark curiosity while leaving enough openness for teenagers to project themselves into the experience.
